SIAMS

As well as regular OFSTED inspections, we also have SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) inspections. These inspections are crucial for evaluating our effectiveness and distinctiveness as a Church school, with a specific focus on the profound impact of our Christian vision on pupils and adults, and all other aspects of school life.

As a church school, we use the SIAMS Ongoing Self Evaluation to reflect honestly and thoughtfully on our Christian vision and the way it shapes every aspect of school life. This process helps us to celebrate what we do well, such as nurturing a caring and inclusive community, while also identifying ways we can continue to grow and improve. Guided by our vision; “You are a child of God, you are wonderfully made, dearly loved and precious in His sight.” (Psalm 139), we regularly review areas like collective worship, religious education, and the impact of our values on children’s lives. The Ongoing Self Evaluation ensures that our school remains rooted in its Christian foundation and focused on providing the best possible education for all, while strengthening our connection to the wider church community and helping us live out our vision with purpose and integrity.

We are very pleased to share the report from our most recent SIAMS inspection below.

Our ongoing Self-Evaluation Form (SEF) is also provided, giving parents, carers, and our wider community insight into how we reflect on our journey and continue to grow together.
