As a single academy trust St Mary’s has the opportunity to demonstrate to the public that the academy trust’s use of public assets and funds has provided good value for money during the year and can identify opportunities for improvement. Having secure financial management is an important aspect as we can then provide the best education for our children here at St Mary’s. We have in place diligent monitoring of the school budget which is overseen by the finance committee – a selection of skilled staff and governors, the budget is then put to the full Governing Body for approval.
