Consultation on Admission Policy for 2027-2028

At St Mary’s C of E Primary School, Dilwyn, we are committed to being open, fair, and transparent in the way we welcome children into our school family.

We are currently consulting on our Admissions Policy for the 2027–2028 academic year, and we warmly invite parents, carers, parishioners, the local community, and the Dioceses of Hereford to share their views.

Why We’re Consulting

Every few years, schools are required to review their admissions arrangements to make sure they are clear, fair, and meet the needs of our community.
This consultation gives you the opportunity to read through our proposed policy and let us know if you have any comments or suggestions before it is finalised.

Consultation Dates

🗓 Friday 7th November – Friday 19th December 2025

The consultation will run for six weeks. During this time, you are invited to read the proposed policy and send in any feedback.

Next Steps

Once the consultation period has ended, the Governing Body will review all feedback before making a final decision.
The final Admissions Policy for 2027–2028 will be published on our website in early 2026.
